CHITTY SAILS TO NORTHERN IRELAND

 Stena Line celebrated Saint Patrick's Day by transporting a very important passenger in the form of none other than Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the car made famous in the 1968 movie starring Dick Van Dyke.

This stunning Chitty Chitty Bang Bang recreation boarded the Stena Line ferry with her driver Cliff Lucas and Mike Barr of Star Car Hire  to attend the Downpatrick St Paddy's Day parade.

Stena Lines Andrew Kane was on hand to welcome the car after a Stena Line journey that was sure to have been  'Truly Scrumptious!'

DUKES OF HAZZARD STAR JOHN SCHNEIDER MAKES GUEST APPEARANCE WITH STAR CAR HIRE'S GENERAL LEE.

Star Car Hire recently teamed up with Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider for a special signing session at Birmingham's NEC Memorabilia show. John, who played 'Bo Duke' in the original Dukes of Hazzard TV series, made a special trip to the UK to attend the popular show and also made a special guest appearance on the Graham Norton Show with Cousins 'Luke' and 'Daisy' whilst in town. Thousands of Dukes fans came swarming through the doors of the NEC over the weekend to meet the Dukes star and have autographs and Dukes memorabilia signed. Star Car Hire were also fortunate enough to have two of our very own General Lee replicas signed by the man himself. (see pics in news section). MORE>
